Question: Does this tank have a heater?
Answer: The tank does not include a heater

Question: What kind of heater this aquarium needs?
Answer: You will need a heater that can adequately heat 55 gallons of water to a temperature that is appropriate for the fish you plan on putting in the aquarium.

Question: Does The stand could be open or the storage area is just on top?
Answer: The stand does not open. There is a spout on the side of the stand to allow for easy drainage. That’s the only opening on the stand. The top stores the filtration system, lighting and where you can plug everything in.

Question: Is the back of the tank flat? Or are both sides bowed?
Answer: Both sides are bowed. I didn't like that at first but found it makes cleaning the back easier.

Question: How mich does the tank weigh fully filled on the stand?
Answer: With gravel, water, and what you choose to decorate with will vary. I would say under 100 gallons.

Question: Will this support both fresh water or salt water set ups?
Answer: Yes, fresh water or salt water will work
